Shirin is a self-taught artist who learned to love art from a very young age. Her father was a brilliant artist and she grew to follow in his footsteps. While life took her in several different directions, painting remained her constant love. She has drawn inspiration from her all parts of her life: marriage, motherhood, travel, deep studies of interior design, and her ongoing practice of Vastu. Throughout all of these journeys, she always expressed herself beautifully through her artwork. Over the years she has experimented with different mediums and techniques, but ultimately decided that the luminescence and permanence of oil painting was where she wanted to grow. With passion and intelligence, she put in countless hours of work to hone her skills with paint and a brush.

She utilized different classes and watched the great masters at work, drawing inspiration from Georgia O’Keefe, Yayoi Kusama, Monet and Van Gogh. One might catch similar subject matter in her artworks. Until now, she primarily sold her art to private collectors across the world. As she put it, “I never managed to amass a collection large enough to exhibit; they were gone as I did them!” She’s finally been able to set that right, blessed in part by the solitude of the pandemic. After two years of almost complete seclusion and totally dedication to her brush and canvas, she reveals a compilation of stunning works.
