Richa is a contemporary impressionist painter based in Delhi NCR (India), and the founder of Studio Rusty Pink. She established a full-time studio practice working in mixed media and oil, building through acrylics, markers, and inks before arriving at oil as her final layer — alongside charcoal for portraiture. Her work spans florals, landscapes, wildlife, and portraiture, currently centred on an ongoing lily series.
Education & Career
Alongside her studio practice, Richa teaches fundamental art, including a course on the basics of pencil drawing that emphasizes instincts over copying. She has built her practice through years of hands-on experimentation: layering paint and texture, and more recently alcohol ink, to capture florals that feel delicate yet alive.
Recognition & Awards
Richa's work has been exhibited at India Habitat Centre's Visual Art Gallery, the Constitution Club of India, and many other reputed national and international exhibitions, with her work reaching collectors across India. Her work has also been presented internationally in Warsaw, Poland, and Colombo, Sri Lanka. She has participated in live painting events, workshops, and art demonstrations, including programmes organised by NGMA and LKA.
