"Art is the expression of my primary and compulsive impulse to create. A medium to share my thoughts, perspectives and vision of the wonderful world we live in."

Revati has worked in advertising for many years but was always interested in painting and sculpting and other art forms. She has been painting for over 30 years now. Since she belongs to Madhubani, she was naturally drawn to its colourful art and worked extensively in the art form. The colours, play of light and rhythm of forms in nature influence her work. She has also designed textiles and carpets. She sculpts with paper mache as well. She has exhibited her work at the Habitat Centre in Delhi and her work has found homes around the world.

Education & Career

Revati Sharma has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
