"My practice is rooted in the belief that 'Art is Freedom.' I do not allow myself to be confined by a single technique; instead, I view the canvas as a laboratory where my background in Chemistry meets my creative intuition. I am deeply inspired by the concept of 'Eternal Energy'—the unseen cosmic forces that connect the sun, the earth, and human life. In my work, I seek to capture the positive resonance of the universe through fluid forms and vibrant 'Liquid Fusions.' Whether I am building dense, physical layers with a palette knife or allowing liquid pigments to dance across the surface, my goal is to translate the intangible laws of attraction into a visual experience. Each piece is a spontaneous celebration of life, intended to bring a sense of infinite bliss and cosmic harmony to its surroundings."

 

Rahat Kazmi’s creative journey began in childhood under the mentorship of her grandfather, eventually evolving from a career in fashion and textile design to professional fine art. Since transitioning to canvas painting in 2006, she has specialized in large-scale abstract works that gained rapid acclaim following her move to Mumbai in 2018.

Education & Career

She holds an M.Sc. in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). This scientific foundation is evident in her mastery of "Liquid Fusion," where she utilizes her understanding of chemical properties to guide how different pigments interact and flow on the canvas.

   

Recognition & Awards

Her career is marked by over 50 group exhibitions at prestigious venues like the Jehangir Art Gallery and Hotel Taj Palace in Mumbai, as well as World Art Dubai. She also contributed to a Guinness World Record for a massive collective digital art showcase.
