"My artistic journey traces back to my earliest memories, shaped by growing up in a home led by a dynamic artist duo who recognized and nurtured my instincts from a tender age. Walls, slates, and endless sheets of paper became my playground as I immersed myself in art, my tiny fingers stained with the vibrant hues of oil pastels. As a child, I found myself deeply drawn to nature—especially roosters—for their embodiment of life’s essence, courage, and quiet leadership. Their striking forms, layered feathers, graceful yet powerful movements, and vivid scarlet combs and wattles fascinated me. From their sleek hip feathers to their elegantly fanned tails, every detail spoke of beauty and strength, leaving an indelible impression on me that continues to influence my artistic expression today."

Poorva Bhosale is a Mumbai-based visual artist whose practice spans painting, murals, and photography. Working primarily in mixed media, she explores emotional duality, spiritual undercurrents, and personal mythology through layered symbolic forms — often anchored by the recurring motif of the rooster.
