"My inner quest to express the nature (prakriti) and the people that surround place where I stay. my work is like expressing my inner talk with my higher self and nature on to the canvas it’s an inner dialogue and communication that I expressed through my work. I feel “language is a poor mean of communication”. I use my work for expressions. The simple representation of my work does not invite critical investigation. Instead, it demands the presence of purity and innocence within. It is inner peace to me to find out the process of Prakriti from my work, so I started following my inner calling with the combination of various aspects of art like Bidu lines, shape, space , textural impact, colours,ink,brush strokes on surface of the canvas/ handmade paper and so on."

Pooja Sawant is a professional Fine artist and Yog therapist (emotional and physical health care counsellor). She is currently working as YOG THERAPIST for (online/offline) learning and consulting.
