"My art is a spiritual process. This means I have turned inward to know myself through contemplation and contemplative self-reflection. It is a great thing that through art we can express ourselves without making defeating judgments. It is a practice that has helped me to let go, to surrender to the higher reality that we are all part of something bigger and we are not separate from it. I value the journey over the destination.”

Pavan's artistic journey began in the hills and thick forests of his native place in Maharashtra. Although his current abstract shapes often reflect the vibrancy of urban life, his roots lie deep in the fields and mountains surrounding his childhood home. His transition to abstract art was a natural progression from his initial landscape paintings.
