"The style of constructivism and symbolism are reflected through my artworks. Such as we all know our Mother Nature is made up of various kinds of plants and trees which contains cells and cellular components. Similarly, we human beings are also made up of various kinds of cells and cellular components . Same goes for our houses which is made up of bricks. As, brickwork is done to place one upon the other. So I am just comparing the elements of mother nature with another how each and everything is related with geometrical shapes and patterns. So I represent the forms of geometrical patterns through my artworks."

 

Chinmoy Pandit is an artist from Kolkata, born and brought up in the city and currently based in New Delhi. He primarily focuses on artworks that reflect the harsh realities of society while mirroring self-reflection. He completed his BVA in Painting from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata in 2003, and went on to earn his Master’s in Fine Arts (Painting) from the University of Kalyani, Nadia, West Bengal.
