"Through my travels across India, I am deeply inspired by the profound connection between Nature and the timeless monuments that dot the landscape. These ancient structures, standing resilient for centuries, hold within them the whispers of history—bearing witness to epic battles, intricate conspiracies, resounding victories, and profound losses. They are more than stone and mortar; they are storytellers, bridging the past with the present. My work seeks to honor this enduring spirit, exploring the interplay of resilience, memory, and the passage of time, as reflected in both the natural world and human creations.”

Born in Nagpur, Maharashtra, Chetana’s art journey blends her diverse academic background as well as her travels across India and abroad.

Education & Career

Masters in Environmental Science and later on she had a brief stint at J.J. School of Art Mumbai and have studied art foundation at Raheja school of Art, Mumbai followed by short course of drawing and Painting in Slade School of Art, University College London, UK.

Recognition & Awards

Chetana has been recognized for her artistic excellence with a Merit Certificate and Trophy at the 36th All India Lokmanya Tilak and Barrister V. V. Oak Art Exhibition (2024) in Pune. Her works have also been featured in prestigious showcases such as the 63rd and 62nd Maharashtra State Annual Art Exhibitions at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai, in 2024 and 2023, respectively.
