Pooja Bansal has created a niche for herself through her work on sustainable hard surfaces like wood, concrete, glass and metal. Her signature work is on old doors and windows that she picks up from dealers across the country. These doors and windows come from houses, palaces, mills, warehouses, etc. which are being fast replaced by high rises. She tries to retain some part of the wood in its original form while she paints and gives it a new life.
